Together with the items given to the mum and baby today, we have also ordered a week’s food shopping for her. As food prices increase, this is now costing us around £60.00 per food shop. Please help us continue this vital service by supporting our fundraising events. Our next one is a quiz night on 8th April – details below. We were approached by a Social Worker to help a lady who had been raised in very difficult circumstances. Now she has become a mum of her own, she had to be taught to care properly for her baby (even the basics of showing love). She is now being housed (after her successful “foster” placement) and they have a great future ahead of them. We have helped her before when she was in a very sad situation, and have now provided toys, baby clothes, highchair. books, cooking equipment, kitchen utensils, bedding, baby walker etc to start making a good life for her and her baby. If any local companies would like to provide a raffle prize for our forthcoming fundraising events, we would be extremely grateful. This will help families in the Poole, Bournemouth & Christchurch areas continue to be supported when they are in need of food, toys, baby equipment, clothing etc.
We are all volunteers so 100% of funds raised goes to help these families.

What a fantastic start to 2017 with all the local support we are receiving. Molly Knight has chosen to fundraise for us in her quest to run 10k’s this year!!! What a brave challenge and we are so honoured that she has chosen us!!!

I’m raising money for a local charity, Ashley’s Birthday Bank who provide help, advice and support to struggling families, single mothers and victims of domestic violence. They also provide birthday and Christmas presents to families where the children might otherwise not have got anything. There are so few places that support women and families in this way, and it is run by volunteers so 100% of money raised goes directly to those who need it. What an amazing charity! I’ve chosen to raise money for them because being a single mummy is hard in so many different ways, but not being able to give him everything I want to be able to is really tough. But I’m so lucky to have what I do have, and to have friends and family around supporting me, but many don’t have this and rely on charities such as Ashley’s Birthday Bank to support them. So please, dig deep, and sponsor me to keep running and raising funds this year! ”

We appreciate your support, and your money will be used to provide food, baby equipment, nappies, toys etc for local underprivileged families.
We have now been verified and our application approved to set up a “My Donate” page with BT Fundraising – this enables fundraisers to participate in a sponsored event and choose Ashley’s Birthday Bank as their nominated registered charity. The funds then get paid directly into our Charity Bank Account. We are excited about the extended opportunity this gives us to raise vital funds.
